Philip began his real estate career with The Myrick
Company, LLC in 1996 as their Research Director, working
directly under the brokerage department.

Mr. Covin grew up in Pierce County, Georgia and
graduated from The University of Georgia’s Terry College
of Business in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business
Administration in Real Estate. He is an active member of
the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and was
selected as its Member of the Month in May 2004. He has
served on the Board’s Community Service Committee for
over 7 years and has also served on the Showtime Event
Committee, Technology Committee, and Membership
Committee. He is also an active member of the Young
Council of Realtors.
Mr. Covin currently serves as Chair of the Atlanta
Preservation Center's Advocacy Committee, whose mission
is to help facilitate the preservation of Atlanta's
historically and architecturally significant structures,
and he also serves on their Board. He has served in the
past as a member of the Dorey's Real Estate Review
Roundtable and as an active participant with the Fairlie-Poplar
Task Force. Mr. Covin also enjoys volunteering with
Trees Atlanta and resides in the Morningside community.
